Train Fare Hike 2013 : Indian Railways declared the revised fare list
The Railway Ministry has decided to hike the passengers fare from 22.1.2013. The detailed table of revision of the passenger fares has been issued by the Ministry, the maximum fare increase in AC Chari Car, AC3-Tier and AC FC by 10 Paise per kilo meter(PKM). And the minimum of increase in the table is 2 paise per kilo meter in the fare for Second Class Ordinary(Suburban). The minimum fare increase as fixed Rs.5 and the fares for second class suburban tickets, will be rounded off to the next higher multiple of five rupees only i.e., Rs.11 and Rs.21 will become Rs.10 and Rs.20.
The below table denotes the fares hike for all classes with effect from 22nd January 2013.
